Performance venues

The Auditorio Miguel González Berral, in Mijas Pueblo, hosts concerts and festivals. In Las Lagunas, the Teatro Municipal Manuel España and the Casa de la Cultura offer a programme of theatre, music, dance and exhibitions.

Traditions

The celebrations in honour of the Virgen de la Peña, the patron saint of Mijas, Holy Week and the fairs held in the different local communities keep Andalusian tradition alive.
