About Webmijas

An independent local guide to discovering Mijas: its towns, neighbourhoods, hidden corners and businesses, from Mijas Pueblo to the coast, in seven languages.

Webmijas was created to raise the profile of local businesses in Mijas and help residents and visitors discover the municipality: from Mijas Pueblo to La Cala, via Las Lagunas, the Sierra de Mijas and the residential areas along the coast.

What you’ll find

  • Places of interest: monuments, hermitages, beaches, viewpoints, museums and nature trails.
  • Businesses: restaurants, bars, shops, accommodation and services, with addresses, opening hours and contact details.
  • Blog: articles to help you get to know Mijas and everyday life here.

How we put the guide together

Our information comes from open sources such as OpenStreetMap, businesses’ own websites and the work of the guide’s editors. The photos are our own or shared under a free licence (for example, from Wikimedia Commons), and each one includes a credit.

The texts are written in Spanish and translated into English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch so visitors can enjoy Mijas in their own language. The translations are reviewed and improved over time.

A website that respects your privacy

Webmijas does not use tracking cookies. We only count page visits anonymously, without storing IP addresses or identifiers, and maps only load when you ask for them.
