Peñablanquilla is a small settlement on the hillside sloping down from Mijas Pueblo towards the coast. Country houses, vegetable gardens and detached homes are scattered among the greenery, with views of the coastline.

The village is close enough to reach on foot or in just a few minutes, with viewpoints, shops and restaurants to enjoy in its historic centre.
