The Torre de Calahonda is a coastal watchtower overlooking the sea at the western end of the Mijas coastline. It formed part of a network of towers that protected the coast from attacks by sea.
Today, surrounded by residential development, it stands as a reminder of the past in one of the municipality’s most modern areas, very close to Calahonda beach.
