Las Lomas de Mijas: living below the white village

Hillside homes, Mediterranean views and Mijas’s historic centre a stroll away: this is Las Lomas de Mijas.

Views from a viewpoint in Mijas Pueblo

Las Lomas de Mijas is a residential area in the hills below Mijas Pueblo. Its homes overlook the Mediterranean and, on clear days, the views take in the whole Fuengirola coastline.

Its main appeal is its proximity to the historic centre. In just a few minutes, you can reach central viewpoints such as the Mirador Hermanos Núñez Andreu:

Or the Mirador Jesús Jaime Mota, next to the hermitage dedicated to the village’s patron saint:

A recommended walk

From Las Lomas, head up to the village in the late afternoon, stroll through the Jardines de la Muralla and stay to watch the sunset over the sea. Afterwards, enjoy dinner on one of the terraces in the old town.
